Idle Hands/Devil's Playground

NO ONE could be more bored than I am right now.
There isn't even a movie theater in this godforsaken town!

  1. I hear you. I'm rather bored myself today. I did take the dogs for a nice walk. I'd rather be in bed instead of the pile of work I have laying on my desk.

If you become desperate, there is always Great Expectations you can read online. That would consume some time, if you can stomach it. It was on some list of the Top 10 literary works but I couldn't stomach it up until the first expectation. I was praying for Pip's horrifically violent death and gave up.

You could read 1984 online. Although now that Chimpy and Darth Cheney are gone, it doesn't seem as powerful as it did when I re-read it a few years ago.

  2. I suppose I could but it might put me right to sleep. Oh, wait. Then I wouldn't be bored anymore.

    I'm on it!

  3. 100 Classic Book Collection on Nintendo DS, that'll keep you busy.

  4. What you need is this FINE Merlot the Mr. G has been pouring me this evening. FINE.

I need that placard on a t=shirt. Is that how you spell placard?

  5. mitzi: i don't know what any of those words mean.

kitty: not on my dad's computer, no.

lisabea: a FINE merlot does not exist in this city of cobwebs and rednecks.

and yes, that's how you spell placard.

pb: slightly. I'm now sitting in front of my own monitor...y'all are about to get blasted with posts. if i don't drop dead of fatigue first!

you better make this good.
